Blue fountain pen signature, “Best Wishes, Marilyn Monroe,” on a light green album page which has been trimmed to a size of 3 x 2, and affixed to a light blue 5 x 3 card. Collector’s pencil notation on reverse of card reads, “Marilyn Monroe Sardis 1948.” In very fine condition. In 1948, Monroe would sign a six-month contract with Columbia Pictures, appearing in the musical Ladies of the Chorus, her first major role. A particularly superb signature obtained at a show business landmark. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
