Roosevelt…honored the requisition of the Governor of the State of Massachusetts for the surrender of Joseph Shields a fugitive from justice of said last named State, and have issued a warrant for his delivery to William H. Shields.” Signed at the conclusion by Roosevelt and countersigned by his counsel. Intersecting folds, a few wrinkles, PSA/DNA and James Spence authentication labels affixed to reverse, and two staple holes to top, otherwise fine condition. The gold foil seal is worn, but intact.
