She gave this piece to my Mama, Maggie Rogers, First Maid of the White House, just before Herbert Hoover was elected President in 1928. My Mama and Mrs. Coolidge did a lot of sewing together. Mrs. Coolidge loved to sew on the sun porch of the third floor.” Condition is extra fine.
