Partly-printed DS as president, one page, 17.5 x 13, December 17, 1927. President Coolidge appoints Alan Rogers of California as “a Foreign Service Officer, unclassified, of the United States of America.” Signed at the conclusion by Coolidge and countersigned by Secretary of State Frank B. Kellogg. Matted and framed to an overall size of 24 x 20. The embossed white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains crisp and fully intact. In fine condition. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
