Commemorative Crosby photo cover with a cachet honoring Wagner’s induction to the Baseball Hall of Fame and the 100th anniversary of ‘America’s National Game,’ postmarked June 12, 1939, in Cooperstown, New York, signed vertically in fountain pen, “J. Honus Wagner.” In fine condition, with a subtle diagonal band of toning to the right side and a chip to the upper left corner. Accompanied by an unsigned HOF plaque card. Though he was one of the first five men elected to the Hall of Fame in 1936, it was not until the Hall's grand opening in Cooperstown on June 12, 1939, that he was officially inducted.
