In full: “Then Paid of John Greer toward the discharge of this Mortgage the Sum of Three pounds Six Shillings & Eight pence for one payment of the principal due the 5th day of June 1766—As also one pound thirteen Shillings & four pence the Interest due the said 5th day of June 1766—on said Mortgage,” with the totals written below. Professionally inlaid into a slightly larger sheet. Central vertical and horizontal folds (horizontal fold bisecting signature), with tape repaired separations to vertical fold on the reverse, otherwise fine condition.
