Scarce and attractive vintage glossy 8 x 10 publicity photo of Wellman with a pipe clenched in his teeth, signed and inscribed in ink, “Elmer—May it be 25 years more, Bill Wellman.” In fine condition, with poor contrast to signature and inscription against his dark jacket.
