American actor (1896–1937) who, as a vaudeville impresario, assembled the act that evolved into the Three Stooges. The tumultuous relationship between Healy and his star trio, fueled largely by Healy’s heavy drinking, led to several rifts and reconciliations, until the Stooges struck out on their own for good in 1934. Vintage fountain pen signature, “Ted Healy,” on an off-white 5 x 3 album page, and also signed “Bonnie,” with two clipped photos affixed to the corners. Page is affixed to an identical size card.
