Collection of 31 vintage color 35mm slides of the interior of the Dallas City Jail, taken in 1963. Images include the F-2 jail cell where Oswald was held, the parking garage area near where Oswald was killed, cell blocks, fourth and fifth floor rooms and offices, the fingerprint station, breathalyzer lab, medical room, basement, line-up room, and gun cabinet. Also included is an audio cassette tape on which Henry Ellison, an assistant jailer at the time of the assassination, describes each slide and mentions that he helped transport Jack Ruby from the city jail to the county jail, and that Ruby feared for his life during the transfer. Lot is accompanied by an original 22 x 8 ballpoint sketch of the fifth floor of the Dallas Jail, drawn and signed by Assistant Jailer Henry Ellison. In overall fine condition. RR Auction COA.
