Chaim Weizmann

Jewish chemist and statesman (1874–1952) who helped secure the Balfour Declaration of 1917, served as President of the World Zionist Organization, and became the first President of Israel. Philatelic souvenir displaying printed examples of Israel’s first postage stamps from 1948, 3.75 x 6.75, No. 2078, signed in blue ink by Weizmann in both Hebrew and English, and also signed by Zvi Prihar. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
