Aviator known as ‘Upside-Down Pangborn’ for his aerial stunts (1895–1958); he was also the first to complete a nonstop trans-Pacific flight. Vintage ballpoint signature and inscription, “To Fred Hall-St. Paul, Clyde Pangborn,” on an off-white 4.5 x 2.5 page.
