Description

Don Hoak

Baseball player (1928–1969) who played for five teams, including the Brooklyn Dodgers. He died of a heart attack while chasing after his brother-in-law’s stolen car. Vintage ballpoint signature, “Best wishes, Don Hoak,” on an off-white 5 x 3 lightly-lined card. In fine condition, with some light show-through at top from a collector’s notation on reverse. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
