Composer (1887–1979). She studied at the Paris Conservatoire (1897-1904), where she won several prizes, and went on to write many vocal and instrumental works, winning second prize at the Grand Prix de Rome in 1908 for her cantata, La Sirène (The Siren). Letter to a friend expressing her sadness that she cannot attend the ballet as she is busy overseeing auditions at the conservatory.
