The ‘Queen of the Blues’ presents a portrait to “old stinking Clinton, my Gin drinking friend”

Legendary American singer (1924–1963), dubbed the Queen of the Blues, who died of an overdose of sleeping pills at the age of 39. Vintage glossy 8 x 9.25 photo, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To old stinking Clinton, my Gin drinking friend, Luck always, Dinah Washington.” In very good condition, with trimmed top edge, a couple light brushes and crease to inscription, and some other scattered light creases.
