Description

“California was upsetting…after dear Sharon’s death and I was tired of the rumors”

ALS signed “Mia,” three pages, 6 x 8, no date. Letter to “Rupert.” In part: “California was upsetting (isn’t it) after dear Sharon’s death and I was tired of the rumors—endless speculation people almost seemed to take a goulish [sic] delight in discussing it. It was none to soon to leave. I saw Roman; flew to N. Y. to spend one evening with him. Poor baby, I’d give all I have to help him for one moment.” Double-matted and framed with a color photo of the cover of the May 5, 1967, issue of Life to an overall size of 18.5 x 22.5. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
