Black dress with gold highlights has a Janice Wainwright maker’s label sewn inside collar, and features short sleeves and an elastic waist. Accompanied by a copy of the album, an Asylum Records publicity photo of Mitchell in the dress, and a letter of authenticity from Jimmy Bangley, former manager of A Star Is Worn. In fine condition. The black dress was highlighted for the cover after Mitchell and the photographer noticed a postcard of a nude female with a Mickey Mouse hat and balloons on a nearby bulletin board.
