Partly-printed DS, signed “William R,” one page, 15.5 x 10.75, December 31, 1830. King William appoints John Frederick S. Smith as “a Colonel Commandant in Our Royal Regiment of Artillery.” Signed in the upper left by William. Blue seal remnants remain affixed to the lower left.
