Vintage red felt tip signatures of Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones on an off-white 5.5 x 7 sheet, labeled at the top in an unknown hand, “Yardbirds,” and an additional signature to bottom half of sheet. In fine condition, with a central horizontal pencil line. An incredibly early set of signatures, as the Yardbirds would change the name of their group to Led Zeppelin, partly due to a cease-and-desist order from former member Chris Dreja, and partly due to a comment by Who drummer Keith Moon that the band would go down like a ‘lead zeppelin.’ Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RR Auction COA.
