Georges Clemenceau

Journalist and statesman (1841–1929) who served as prime minister of France during World War I. ALS in French, signed “G. Clemenceau,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, Chambre des Deputes letterhead, August 9, 1899. Untranslated letter to a lady. In fine condition, with intersecting folds (one vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature). Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
