Ruby’s personally-owned red leatherette address book, 4 x 5.25, with a few entries filled out in Ruby’s hand. Some of these include: “Kathleen, TA7-1569,” “Russ Knight, RI-79319,” “K.L.I.F, RI-79039,” “Robt. Patterson, WH2-5326,” “Al Sharpe, A.G.V.A. 162 N. State, Chicago, Office CE 65561,” and “Vegas Club, LA-6-9428.” An evidence sticker is affixed to the front cover, labeling this “Exhibit D-12.” In fine condition. Despite its sparse entries, a number are quite interesting. The “Vegas Club” was one of the night clubs Ruby owned in Dallas, and the AGVA was the union that managed dancers in the area— Al Sharpe had been placed in Dallas from 1960 through 1962 to rid the union of corruption, and he was in communication with Ruby during the days surrounding JFK’s assassination. An interesting record of Ruby’s few associates from the 1963 period. RR Auction COA.
