Choice original copper Indian Peace Medal featuring a bust portrait of Van Buren on the front and clasped hands on the reverse, 3″ diameter, by Moritz Furst and John Reich. Struck from the original mint dies using the second reverse die, which began service in 1846. In fine uncirculated condition, with slight spotting to lower portion of reverse.
