Hedin sends his good wishes to Krupp on the celebration of his 70th birthday, and praises his work “for Germany, the Führer, Justice…the future of the German people…”front of card bears a reproduction sketch by Hedin on the front, from his 1898 work, “Through Asia,” captioned in the book, “An Ornamental Gate in the Interior of Si-Ning-Fu.” Accompanied by a 5 x 4 slip, inscribed in another hand, to von Bohlen, dated November 24, 1942, receipt stamping, imprinted in German “Presented by the Author,” with “Swen Hedin ‘Amerika’” typed in.
