Description

The soundtrack for the first manned Skylab mission

Flown cassette tape carried into orbit by Paul Weitz on the SL-2 mission. Scotch cassette tape was dubbed with music from country artist Eddie Arnold on side one and composer Claude Debussy on side two. Weitz labeled both sides “SL-2 PW, CMPack #10,” and signed twice on one side, adding, “This cassette tape was flown on Skylab I and is from my personal collection.” In fine condition. Accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Weitz. Pre-certified Steve Zarelli and RR Auction COA.
