American artist (1895–1987) best known for her satirical caricatures. Two ALSs, each one page, 6 x 9, personal letterhead, December 11 and 29, 1971. Both responses to an autograph request. The second, regarding a photo, in part: “It is more becoming of my living room than of me and I never thought it a good likeness; though a clear, good photograph in itself.” In overall very fine condition.
