Elbert Hubbard

American writer, printer, and philosopher (1856–1915), closely associated with the Arts and Crafts movement, who perished in the Lusitania disaster. ALS, one page, 6 x 10.75, Roycroft Fraternity letterhead, October 6, 1910. Letter to “Miss Lewis.” In full: “Thank you for the good letter & the suggestion. Please note the enclosed & see that I am true to the Golden West.” Mild overall wrinkling and a trivial brush to the end of the signature, otherwise fine condition. RR Auction COA.
