Member of the British royal family; mother of Queen Mary and great-grandmother of Elizabeth II (1833–1897). Two items: one original 5 x 8.25 cabinet photo by C. Jagerspacher of Gmunden, signed on the image in black ink, “Mary Adelaide”; and one ALS signed “Mary Adelaide,” three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, October 29, 1888, discussing plans and declining an invitation. In overall very good condition, with moderate overall spotting to the image and trimmed edges and light toning to the letter.
