Scalloped-top ship’s papers issued to the “the Snow President Jefferson of Kennebunk…mounted with one guns navigated with nine men to pass with her Company Passengers, Goods and Merchandise without any hindrance, seizure or molestation.” Signed at the conclusion by Jefferson and Madison. In good condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of Madison’s signature, scattered toning and wrinkling, small pencil notation near seal, paper remnant to upper left, and Madison’s signature and handwritten portions of document fairly light, but still mostly legible. The white wafer seal is toned, but intact. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
