Cicotte was the pitcher who threw the first pitch of the World Series, intentionally hitting the batter to signal the gamblers that the ‘fix’ was on. Scarce ballpoint signature and inscription, “To R. J. Jack Smalling, Eddie V. Cicotte, White Sox,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card.
