Former vaudevillian (1870–1955) who enjoyed success in a series of comic ‘large woman’ screen roles in the 1920s and 1930s. Vintage sepia matte-finish 11 x 14 photo of Friganza by Apeda of New York, signed and inscribed in black ink, “To Mr. Fred Leahy, Sincerely, Trixie Friganza, 1925.” In very good condition, with a few tears to edges, paper loss to lower right corner, and light rippling to edges.
