Description

Sammy Cahn

Three typed notations, all signed “Sammy Cahn 80,” on individual off-white 5 x 3 cards. Notes have to do with three of Cahn’s well-known and award-winning compositions ‘High Hopes,’ ‘All the Way,’ and ‘Three Coins in the Fountain.’ For ‘Three Coins in the Fountain,’ he begins “The first Oscar after losing 13 years in a row! It was a most rewarding night! The Oscar is an absolute secret I always thought it was the ‘song to beat’ someone would sure whisper to me…I had a speech ready, sort of, I wanted to win one of these before I was totally bald.” In fine condition.
