Thomas H. McCollin Tintype

Well-known photographic dealer (1837–1919) who had a studio in Philadelphia. He is also credited with the introduction and distribution of blue print paper. Original oval tintype by Thomas H. McCollin of Philadelphia and New York, circa 1880s, of a man posing next to a camera, possibly a self-portrait. Double matted and framed to an overall size of 7 x 9. In very good condition, with some scattered light creases and a few areas of surface bubbling. RR Auction COA.
