In part (translated): “I misplaced the promissory note for five thousand francs payable at the end of February…signed by M. Hebert. Today I acknowledge receipt of five thousand francs.” A 10-centime stamp is affixed to the bottom. Intersecting folds, a central vertical fold passing through a single letter of the signature, light scattered foxing and toning, and a pinhole to the left border, otherwise fine condition.
