It is necessary for him to take thermal waters…proposed that Your Majesty grant a medical leave of three months.” Bibliotheca Lindesiana coronet stamp to lower right indicates provenance from the collection of the Earls of Crawford. In fine condition, with a central horizontal fold, and mild scattered creases and toning. Blanvillain had been awarded the Legion of Honor in 1807.
