Ink signature, “I am with the greatest Respect your Most Obedt & very Humble Servt, Alexd Scammell, AGl,” on an off-white 7.5 x 1.5 slip clipped from the conclusion of a letter to General Wayne. In very good condition, with scattered toning and soiling, a professionally repaired tear to the left side slightly affecting the sentiment, a couple of tiny pinholes, and some show-through from writing to reverse.
