Johnson signs as military governor of an occupied Tennessee

Ink signature, “Andrew Johnson, Mil Gov & Brig Genl,” on a light blue 8 x 9.75 sheet of stationery with Secretary’s Office, Nashville, Tennessee letterhead, November 2, 1863. A full Tennesee state seal is affixed below the signature. In very good condition, with three horizontal folds, scattered creases, toning, and soiling, tape binding to left edge and an old repair to upper left corner, and light rippling to the bottom of the sheet.
