The first British band to top the US charts with their 1962 #1 hit, ‘Telstar.’ Two items: one vintage 7 x 4.5 newspaper photo of the band, signed by all five members of the original line up, “Heinz Burt,” “Alan Caddy,” “George Bellamy (Rhythm),” “Roger [LaVern],” and “Clem Cattini;” and a short ALS from Cattini expressing thanks for the autograph request, signed, “On behalf of The Tornados, Clem Cattini.” In overall fine condition, with a central vertical fold to the photo and two vertical folds to the letter.
