Original 1933 Texas license plate, 13 x 5, number 947–590. Great period association with Bonnie and Clyde as many stolen license plates from various states were found in their car after they were killed in an ambush on May 23, 1934. In good condition, with light overall rusting and scattered light surface chips and pitting. With just a screwdriver, Bonnie and Clyde could instantly be from Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, or several other states. Provenance: Robert E. Davis Collection.
