An intriguing note penned less than a month before his assassination: “I wish what the bearer brings to be done at once”

War-dated ANS as president signed “A. Lincoln,” on a 3.25 x 2 card, March 10, 1865. Brief note reads, “I wish what the bearer brings to be done at once.” Card is presented on a small print and double suede matted and framed with two photos and a biographical plaque to an overall size of 23.75 x 27. In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and soiling. A boldy-penned example with Lincoln calmly expressing its priority. Oversized. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
