Embarkation card is filled out in pencil by Xenia including her full name “Xenia Grand Duchess of Russia,” age “57,” and proposed address in the UK “Frogmore Windsor.” Signed at the bottom in pencil “G. D. Xenia.” In fine condition, with expected light corner wear from handling and scattered light spots of foxing. Embarkation cards, also known as a departure cards, are used by immigration authorities as a means of passenger identification and record of entry and departure between countries.
