Description

Wally Cox

Actor best remembered for the roles of Mr. Peeper and the voice of Underdog, he died unexpectedly on February 15, 1973, from what some newspapers described as an accidental overdose of sedatives. Marlon Brando, a long-time friend, said it was a heart attack. Cox’s cremated remains were kept hidden in a closet by Brando for three decades. Vintage glossy 7 x 9 photo, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint “To my Pal Frank, All the best! Wally Cox.” In very good condition, with light overall crazing to finish, a few light creases, and some mild curling to horizontal edges. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
