Baseball Hall of Famer (1881–1959) best known for his spitballs and for the forty-one-and-a-third innings he pitched in an eight-day span in 1908 in a futile attempt to capture a pennant for the White Sox. Vintage ink signature, “Ed. A. Walsh, White Sox,” on an off-white 5.5 x 3.25 government postcard (postmarked 3/2/1951).
