Three plaques: International Space Hall of Fame gold plaque, 7.5 x 9.5, inducting Aldrin on October 2, 1982, citing the events of the Gemini XII lift-off: “In a short time, the rendezvous radar on board the Gemini broke down and the crew used a sexton to locate the target and successfully completed the docking procedure manually”; a gold plaque honoring Aldrin as an “Honorary Member of the North Seattle Lapidary & Mineral Society” for being “A member of the first team to collect rocks on the moon,” 10 x 6.75; and a 36th Annual Shrine North-South Football Classic gold plaque, 9 x 12, honoring Aldrin on August 1, 1987, at the Rose Bowl for outstanding service.
