African American featherweight boxer (1912–1957) whose career spanned twenty years, from 1928–1948. Wright achieved a record of 160 wins, and is considered one of the greatest punchers of all time. Ballpoint signature and inscription, “To Bobby Miller, I enjoyed every one of the 346 fites [sic] I had. May the best of the best be yours always, Albert ‘Chalky’ Wright,” on an off-white 5 x 3 lightly-lined card. In fine condition, with uniform toning.
