Land grant issued to David Francis of Butler County, Ohio under “An Act providing for the sale of the Lands of the United States in the territory north-west of the Ohio and above the mouth of the Kentucky River.” Signed at the conclusion by Madison, and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office Edward Tiffin. Nicely triple suede matted and framed with a color portrait of Madison to an overall size of 34.5 x 18.5.
