Jack Ruby

Dallas nightclub owner (1911–1967) who shot and killed Lee Harvey Oswald on November 24, 1963, two days after Oswald was arrested for the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. DS, one page, 8.5 x 11, January 12, 1961. Ruby hires Ed Bernet for a four-week engagement at the Sovereign Club in Dallas, for a salary of $354.00. Signed at the bottom by Ruby, as manager of the Sovereign Club, and also signed by Bernet. In very good condition, with uniform light toning, scattered creases and wrinkles, and a staple hole to top left. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
