Ink signatures of four Confederate generals on two slips, a card, and an original mailing envelope panel, postmarked April 28, 1890, each signed by the respective general. Signers are: Charles C. Pierce, F. M. Cockrell, S. D. Lee, and P. D. Roddey. Soiling around and only slightly affecting Cockrell’s signature, along with pencil notations in another hand, not affecting the signature, and a rusty paper clip imprint adjacent to Roddey’s signature, otherwise fine condition.
