Sam Pollock

Former general manager of the Montreal Canadiens (1925–2007) whose name is engraved on the Stanley Cup 12 times. Inter-Office Correspondence memo, one page, 8.5 x 11, October 17, 1970. Pollock sends a memo to Al Collins regarding the contract of Terence Gray. In full: “Copy of Terence Gray’s 1970/71 contract is attached for your records, as well as copy of letter of October 21st from St. Louis Blues. You will observe that his AHL salary is $15,000.00 and he is to be placed on the Voyageurs’ payroll commencing October 21st, 1970.” Horizontal filing fold, wrinkling, heavy paperclip impression at the top left corner, and two filing holes at the top of the page, otherwise fine condition.
