Scarce signature of a tragic boxing figure

English boxer (1919–1965) who was the world light heavyweight boxing champion from 1948 to 1950. He committed suicide in his car behind his nightclub. Ink signature, “Freddie Mills,” on an off-white 4 x 2 slip. Scattered creases with a diagonal crease passing through the first letter of his name and show-through from printing on the reverse, otherwise fine condition. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.
