Wally Schirra’s flight-flown Beta cloth Apollo 7 crew patch and name tag, carefully sealed within a soft clear plastic decontamination sleeve. Two NASA labels on the reverse read in part “Part number Crew Patch, Serial Number Apollo VII” and “Part number Name Tag, Serial Number Schirra.” Both are date-stamped January 14, 1969. A third patch affixed to the reverse reads “NASA MSC. Do Not Open Except for Use of Inspection. Cleaned for Service” and also stamped “Black Light Insp.” One-of-a-kind artifacts removed from Schirra’s suit following his mission. RRAuction COA.
