Peden…as the Minister Resident of the United States to the Republic of Buenos Ayres.” Signed at the conclusion by Pierce and countersigned by Secretary of State, William L. Marcy. Intersecting folds, one passing through a single letter of signature, with two tiny points of separation along the central horizontal fold, a uniform shade of toning, light, scattered spots of soiling, and two circular areas of toning from the seal, otherwise fine condition.
